Hate.

I don't understand why it's openly okay to hate. I mean, so many people are filling out these "5 people I want to punch in the face" on facebook. I know it's meant to be a joke, but most of these people aren't kidding. Moreover, the people they choose are people they don't even know. Can you really hate someone you've never even met? I guess the answer for them is yes. However, I don't see a reason to hate anyone at any time. You can disapprove or dislike what they do (even hate what they do), but if you're a Christian, hate for another person is not supposed to be in your nature. So stop it. Stop the hate.
This is a simple response to a complex question. I know that some people will disagree, but people aren't hating on the people perpetuating genocide or anything like that. These people are hating because someone believes/does something they disagree with. For example, they hate politicians, celebrities, etc. Seriously people? You're going to hate Bush or Obama because you are a different party? That doesn't say much about one's ability to work with other people. And what did a celebrity really do to you? Everybody is who they are based on how they grew up, influences of peers/elders, life decisions, and the knowledge they've gained (or the lack of), same as you. So why hate someone who is a product of these aspects just like you are? It simply does not make sense.
